Auction guidelines: A minimum bid is specified for each lot. Lots will be sold to the highest bidder at the following advances over the next highest bidder:
Up to $5 – a $0.25 advance.
$5.01-$15 – a $0.50 advance.
$15.01-$25 – a $1.00 advance.
$25.01-$50 – a $2.50 advance.
$50.01 + – a $5.00 advance.
No “buy” bids; “or” bids are ok. In case of tie bids, the earlier postmark or e-mail wins. All single perfins are complete and in good condition, unless otherwise noted. Bid by Lot #. I will confirm all email bids via email.
Straight edges are identified but not considered to be defects as this was normal for stamps in sheet margins. In larger lots, you should expect some faults. Lots will be sold to the winning bidder at the Minimum Bid or one increment over the 2nd highest bid. I have done my best to identify the Scott catalog number of each perfin. Pattern numbers are from most recent catalogs that I own. All individual perfins are returnable – mixtures are not returnable. I will send an invoice detailing your wins or losses via email shortly after the close of the auction.
Payments to the Perfins Club Treasurer (address in the Perfins Club Bulletin and it will be on the invoice I send. Once payment is received, I will dispatch lots. Winnings totaling more than $100 will be sent priority mail, otherwise it will be first class mail. Please put your preferred address (snail or e-mail) on your bid sheet as this makes it easier for me to notify you after the close of the auction.
